Cerulo FACS

The first part of the class focuses on sewing and textiles.  Students will learn about laundry, practice hand sewing on a sewing square, create a wallet on the sewing machines and then the final project for the unit culminates in creating a quilt.  I have posted the quilt material requirements below.  The second part of the class focuses on Foods and Nutrition.  Students learn about a variety of things from food labels to safety and sanitation to different types of food preparations.  The class will culminate in the Arts Cafe at the end of the semester and both parents and staff are invited to dine.
